A windy and hot day (31degC) riding starting out from Perpignan. By the end of of the day Steve ended up in Ales (finally bedding down in Nimes) and David in Arles.

Due to getting split up in traffic and the very similar names of Ales and Arles (two cities about 77km apart) meant we spent the night in different towns.
